Red Top Cemetery

Located about one mile from the Walker County Line in Grimes County, to the south of Hwy 30. The data for a portion of the persons buried here have been included because some of them were residents of Walker County and owned property near the county line in Walker County, Texas.
A plaque attached to the large brick columns entering the cemetery reads: "Shiro Red Top Cemetery" A perpetual care cemetery made possible by Miss Jessie Harman, 1883-1970"
Note: Miss Jessie Harman lived on her farm - ranch in Walker Co. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
