Death of Zapata County Pioneer

Mrs. Josefa Maretinez Vda. De Gutierrez, aged 82 years and a native of Guerrero, Mexico, and who had resided at Dolores ranch in Zapata county since 1859, died in Laredo this morning at 114 Zaragoza street. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock, interment in the Catholic cemetery. Deceased had resided in Laredo the past five years, having purchased a home here. She is survived by two sons and four daughters, all residents of this section.
