HE IS IN THE OIL GAME IN THE RECENTLY DISCOVERED OIL FIELDS IN ILLINOIS, GOING THERE FROM ODESSA. HE CAME TO STANTON BY PLANE FROM THE ILLINOIS TOWN, CALLED BY THE DEATH OF HIS MOTHER. RETURNS TO STANTON TO FINISH SCHOOL TERM MRS. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A LOAD EARLIER IN THE WEEK THE STEERS BROUGHT THE HIGHEST PRICE OBTAINED HERE FOR THAT KIND OF CATTLE SINCE NOVEMBER TWENTY-FIVE HEAD AVERAGED 922 POUNDS AND SIX WERE WEIGHTED AT 1,088 POUNDS. THE CATTLE IN EXCELLENT MARKETABLE CONDITION, SHOWED RESULTS OF CAREFUL FEEDING.
